Beginning of Trebuchet

This is my first post about the trebuchet I am getting ready to build in class. I have learned about the counterweight which i am going to make out of lead. I have also learned about the arm, and the base and framework that will be made out of wood. The sling release pin which if a more hooked pronge will hold the sling loop longer than a straighter one. the projectile that i will be using will be made of clay. One other thing is the release pin which will be used to release the prjectile.
